CE Marked Fire Dampers

With the introduction of Construction Product Regulation on the 1st July 2013, all fire dampers are required to meet the product standard BS EN 15650. To achieve this standard the damper has to be tested to BS EN 1366-2 dynamic fire test. The dampers are then classified to BS EN 13501-3 that clearly states the integrity of the damper, orientation of the damper and also the way that damper was installed in the furnace (inside/outside or both).

All of our CE Marked Fire Dampers have been tested both inside and outside of the furnace.

Advanced Air 0160 CE

The 0160 CE curtain fire dampers are designed to stop the spread of fire through ductwork in ventilation systems. When the fusible link reaches 72°C, it releases interlocking blades closing the damper by locking into the blade ramp sealing the damper closed.

The damper has been tested from both sides in both wall and floor installations so there is no issue in coordination caused by working out which side the fire will be on.

Advanced Air 0400 CE (Circular only)

The 0400 CE single blade fire dampers are designed to stop the spread of fire through ductwork in ventilation systems. When the fusible link reaches 72°C, it releases the blade closing the damper.

The damper has been tested from both sides in wall installations so there is no issue in coordination caused by working out which side the fire will be on.  The damper is supplied complete with the actuator and ETR (with test button) factory fitted.
